No pooping!? Please help 😭

My baby is a week old. He has a lot of wet diapers but barely any poopy diapers. The last time he had a dirty diaper was two days ago and it looked yellow-orange it was also seedy. He does become gassy though, he farts a lot along with me burping him. His jaundice level was pretty at the hospital but he was put on formula and started pooping better and often. I alternate from the formula and breast feeding, although the pediatrician prefers for me to breastfeed. I'm just afraid as to why he hasn't pooped in the last 48hrs 😣

I’ve always done a tiny cap full of prune juice in a bottle. My babies would do a nice satisfying poop with in an hour no problem.

I was so worried about this too! As a FTM I didn't realize babies can go says without pooping.
My little man is now 5 weeks, and he was on a diet of half formula half breast until about a week ago (we still supplement with formula occasionally). He would go almost 3 days without pooping. I was told as long as he's passing gas, wetting diapers and isn't throwing up his food he was okay.
I've also noticed he will grunt/strain/push/cry just to pass gas. I've read that it's because little ones don't posses the ability to "push" just their rectal muscles, so they do it the only way they know how  (by tensing their whole body). 
We did tummy massage, bicycles, gripe water, baby massage, extra burping during bottles. Nothing really made a noticeable difference. Once we started more nursing it got better, but it hasn't resolved itself. I suspect once he's a little bigger it will get much better!
If you're worried, call the doctor! Never ignore your gut instincts momma!

It's normal some babies only poop 1 a week some go longer. Don't stress about it.

Not all babies go excessively as others but they will make up for it 😂 if baby isn’t uncomfortable and fussy don’t stress it!

It’s normal for breastfed babies to go longer without pooping, but if you’re doing formula as well I’d try getting his bowels to move. Tummy massage, warm bath and bicycle legs should help get things going
