Dating a guy elder to me

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 months. We have a 12 year age gap. I know this is just the beginning of our relationship but we really feel that liking and love for each other and connect on every level. He wants to marry me I know it’s too early for that but I want the same too. I know the age gap will bring issues and might cause problems but I don’t really mind it. I haven’t told my parents about him yet.

I sometimes feel that I don’t fit in with his group of friends. I mean what they think about our relationship etc
