Any other military moms in this group ? Trying to get more info on getting a breast pump through insurance ? Also what’s your jobs ? Your work hours now ? 🥰

I'm a stay at home wife but I did get a free breastpump through tricare. my midwife wrote a prescription and I went on pumpingessentials.com and they sent it to my house. I have tricare prime and I didnt pay anything. even shipping was free!

With my first I had Tricare and the doctor just had to write a prescription for it and they told me where I could take it. That was 3 years ago though

Meee! I just got mine from mommy express ☺️ so if you go to the breastfeeding basics or working and breastfeeding class they can give you a prescription there. If not, your doctor will give you one after 36 weeks. I recommend finding the schedule and going to the class because you have to BUG the doctor for that prescription 🙄 then you can order them online from a company that takes TRICARE, I just called and asked. There are other options that you can ask your doctor or midwife but that is definitely the easiest one. I got mine in two days ☺️

I used Aeroflow for my breast pump. They did everything for me. All I had to do was fill out the form online & they sent everything to my doctor and got the prescription straight from them. 
I also currently work in the OR at the local hospital where we live. 5 days a week. 8 hour shifts. Plus about 45 hours of call a week. 
6 weeks to go & this momma is getting tired.

Baby pavilion .com is what my off base provider used. It was simple and very fast. They do all the paperwork and whatnot to send to Tricare. I'm active duty.

I am prior service with Tricare. I worked with Aeroflow Breastpumps.  I picked my pump and my doctor faxed them my Rx and I had my pump about a week later.

I'm a spouse! Got my prescription and ordered through the army medical site my doctor referred me too and got mine within a week! A big bonus is all of the extra parts and storage bags I got with mine along with a cooler bag and extra bottles!

Currently have Tricare they normally give you the script at 36 weeks but I got mines early. They gave me a list where I could order from. Order mines at mommy express and got it two days later and I’m in Virginia don’t know how the other places do

I’m active duty! I told my OB they put the request in for MommyXpress and they texted me to call to confirm info, called them back and they asked what I wanted and I wasn’t sure so she recommended the Spectra 2 for me. Free bags too! You can call them when you’re low and they can give you more!

We don't have a MTF here so we are referred out. I got a prescription from my doc and went in and got one from a Tricare approved shop in the Exchange.
