Fat?..

Hi all, I'm posting anonymously just beacuse I'm embarrassed. I am 1 week post post partum. All my boyfriends family, and friends call me fat, and tell me I still look pregnant. It really hurts my feelings considering I've struggled with self esteem issues since I was a child. I'm 5 foot 3 and weigh 140. Is this really fat?

You had a baby a week ago, give your body time to heal, I took me a couple of months to have all the swelling come down and even then I had a little pooch of looser skin.
The people you mentioned sound like assholes.

I would tell them “of course I still look pregnant. I just had a baby. What’s your excuse for looking pregnant?”
It takes at least a year to two years for your body to go back to normal. They’re assholes.

Girl cut yourself some slack, you just gave birth ONE week ago. If my boyfriends family dared to say anything like that to me I would refuse to be around them, next time tell them not to be so rude! Each and every woman is beautiful, big or small!

You just had a baby!!! What is wrong with people. If your friends are telling you that, there not your friends. I’m 5’3 and weigh 140. My baby is 6 years old. I’m not over weight. I wear a 5/6 I think your doing awesome, and don’t worry about the haters.

Uh, you're 1 week post partum. Why are they saying anything at all? Your focus shouldn't be on whether or not you're fat right now, it should be on healing the extreme trauma your body just underwent 🤦🏻‍♀️ freaking ridiculous. Pregnancy weight doesn't disappear overnight, it can take weeks or months even on a high metabolism.

Well if your fat I’m fat I’m 16 days pp an I am 134 and in 5’5. Every time I say something about being fluffy and squishy my husband gets mad to quote him “ shut up you just had a baby your not fat “😂 I went from 115 to 160 gave birth and I’m at 134 not where I wanna be but I’ll get there 🤷🏼‍♀️
