Sunburn remedy?

I feel like a horrible mom. We went to a tropical place for a week so we used lots of hats, rash guards, sunscreen, etc, but on the very last day I missed a spot right underneath her eye and she now has a pink sunburn. Is there anything I can put on it? She squirms a lot and immediately rubs her eyes when I use lotion or anything else near them, so I’m worried about anything getting into her eyes. I have some aloe vera, but is it safe if it gets in her eyes?
