Finally got my son in to see a specialist and confirm what my family has been in denial of for the last four years! Autism is nothing to be ashamed of or feared. My little man just needs a little more help and attention than some other kids. He is so intelligent and I am so glad to have finally found an amazing doctor that is very optimistic and excited to help him. I still regret not getting this started sooner, but I'm so excited to see how this goes. Never again will I let anyone's opinions get in the way of my gut feelings!
