When should I tell him?

So I’ve been talking with this guy through and dating service and I’m pretty sure we’re going to meet in person and get physical. I was a little foolish awhile back, wasn’t careful and I have HSV-2; when is a good time to tell this guy about it or any guy for that matter?
I haven’t been with anyone since I’ve been diagnosed and have notified everyone I’ve been with once I found out. I’m just not sure when to bring it up and I know I stand the chance of the guy walking away/ghosting, but seriously, when in the beginning stages do you let someone know?

Do it before you guys have sex. And if you are talking about having it when you meet tell him now

Everyones entitled to react their own way and its best to tell him while you guys are talking about being intimate than lead him on. If he walks away that’s fair and it’s better to know who’s serious about you by telling them.

Well I told him. I just said that I needed to be honest with him and understand if it’s a dealbreaker and then said it; he said he had to think about it but he appreciated me telling him so we’ll see what happens....
