Trying to think like a guy..

Just after everyone’s opinions please.. the overthinking is killing me haha

So my partner and I aren’t in a position where we can be together full time. (That’s a very long story for another time)

We were having a discussion over lunch on Friday and he just blurts out “When we were having sex in the spooning position the other day, when i was grabbing your stomach, all i could think about was how it felt like we were trying to make a baby”

We’ve never talked about this before so I’m immediately caught off guard.

When we are having sex later in the day; right before he came he goes “are you ready baby, I’m going to inseminate you and give you a baby”

(We are using birth control too)

Later in the day; he told me that he wanted to have twins and it’s all come out of nowhere.. I’m trying to not overthink but I’m just looking for some advice or opinions on what people think could be running through his brain..
