I can’t believe I made him cry 😭

Soooo. My birthday is on the 11th, v-day is the 14th, and our anniversary lands on the 15th. We’re both so involved with jobs and school that we have NO time to actually enjoy ourselves. Instead of buying him something big or going somewhere, I decided to do something personal and different. He wasn’t even going to come over that night because he had homework due at midnight but I begged him to come for 15 minutes AT LEAST since I had planned to do this in advance. The two pictures from that night are only a part of what I did.. I decked out the house. We had a candle lit dinner (pizza hut), I did the 5 senses gift with a “surprise” gift at the end (hot air balloon ride), flowers everywhere, balloons everywhere, a book of quotes that describe my love for him, we watched Madagascar... yes the kids movie and so much more! He loved it so much he walked over to me and busted out crying and told me how much he loved me. MY HEART 😭 That’s when there was no doubt in my mind about him always being mine.

It may have not been a lot but when a person legitimately appreciates something like that so much.. it is a big deal. I’m 21 and he’s 20... we aren’t ready for kids, marriage, and living alone yet since we’re focusing on school and our careers. He graduates in May and May go back and I am praying to get in nursing school... but god, I can’t wait until I marry him one day ❤️
