Doing some research on some facials. I want something that will help improve the overall appearance and help reduce my acne scars. 
Anyone have personal experiences they can share?

Best research is to get one!! The esthetician will know the best facial for you. 
I have tried a silk peel and glycolic peels to help shrink pores and help smooth my acne scars. The silk peel is a wand and helps push products deeper and the glycolic peel is an exfoliate (takes off the top layers of skin) both painless . The silk was an added service , so I had to come back for it.

Dermaplaning for texture and to help any products sink in better. See an esthetician and they’ll tailor a facial to your wants and needs. It’s a lot deeper and more complex than just choosing a facial.

My esthetician has become one of my best friends. Be careful though many esthetician’s that work at Salons or company’s are selling a brand that may not have what is right for you with in that brand.  I would look for someone who is creating their own skin care line or who does free lance work. This way your not sucked in to buying miracle products that just don’t suit you!
