HELP!!! Birth control ??

Question

I want to get on birth control because, lube gives me a UTI every time I use a condom but if I have sex without a condom I don’t get one. I have no idea how to tell my mom I want to... I’m 18 and in a relationship, I also think I want to get the shot one so I don’t forget to take it or anything and mess my cycle up more than it already does. so PLEASE HELP on what’s a good birth control and how to tell my mom.

If you don't want to have to worry about something, get the implant or an IUD. The shot canonically messes up a lot of women's cycles, you still have to remember to go into the doctor every three months ON TIME, and you can only take it for three years. And you don't have to tell your mom anything. Just make the appointment yourself or go to planned parenthood/ a women's clinic.

Just be honest with her. I know it’s a weird conversation to have but you are an adult now. And believe me (I’m speaking from experience) telling your mom you want to get on birth control is a lot easier than telling her you’re pregnant
