has anyone been diagnosed with preclamsia?

im 35 weeks today and at my appointment i had traces of protien in my urine and my blood pressure was high. my feet have been swelling a little but not bad, but i keep headaches and have been getting very dizzy and light headed. they think it may be preclamsia and are having me come back in friday to check everything again. Has anyone been diagnosed with this? what happens if i do have it?

I haven’t been diagnosed but I’ve seen mamas on here recently being induced for it, the only cure is to have the baby. Good luck mama ❤️

I have had high protein in my last 2  24hour urine test. I have to go get NST and BP check every day and bloodwork every 3 days but its better than being admitted. They are inducing me Feb 27 at 37 weeks. 
They said i can remain an outpatient until then but if i even get the slightest headache i cannot take anything and just have to head to L&D.

I had it with my last baby. I went into L&D at 36+6 with minor contractions....to be told my blood pressure was through the roof and the baby needed to come out. they induced labor, and I had her the next day at 37w. 
I was put on a magnesium sulfate drip, catheter inserted, and I labored that way for 22 hours in the hospital. I had pain meds, and an epidural. I remember I slept A TON, I believe the magnesium made me. it makes you feel hot, clammy, etc. I had double and blurred vision, I couldn't really see the person I was talking to... I had to keep the catheter in and stay in bed and on the magnesium until 24 hours after I delivered. we stayed in the hospital for a total of 3 days. 
I had to take blood pressure medicine for 2 weeks after delivery, and I couldn't drive. had to make sure I wasnt going to have any seizures or anything. 
everyone in the hospital took really great care of me. 
so good luck, if you end up having preeclampsia. you'll be fine. ♡
