Real talk - periods after birth.

Okay, I haven’t seen a birth in a LOOONG time, and this is something NOBODY in my family talks about, and being a first time mom in a different country than her whole family, I need some real talk here.

How long did you bleed after birth?

How long until you started having regular periods again (if you were fairly regular)?

And how were the periods afterwards?

My periods before conceiving were HELL. And I’m wondering if it will just go straight back to being HELL. Or were your bodies kind to you and gave you a break?
