Spotting with a small clot

So I’m 6 weeks 3 days, haven’t had any spotting but then today after a workout with a trainer had some spotting. red mixed in with whitish discharge. Then when I got home about an hour later there wasnt much on a panty liner. Just pinkish brown streak but there was a small clot like size of pinky nail and it wasn’t almost black. Naturally I was freaking out!! So now 2 hours later there’s nothing on the liner or toilet paper. Waiting for doctors office to call me back just speak to them to if I should be concerned. Anyone had anything like this? I’m wondering if something I did during exercise can cause something. I know exercise can’t cause a miscarriage but I’m wondering if it can cause some spotting.
