Prevent gaining weight on birth control?

Question

Yesterday i went ahead and started on the nexplanon birth control i know a side affect of each birth control is weight gain but now my question is what can i do to prevent gaining so much weight i can’t go to a gym but i can move around the house or walk outside drink

Please i would appreciate any sort of advice

Same way you would normally care for yourself: drinking lots of water, getting plenty of sleep, staying active, (outside of walking around the house - that's not "being active"), and eating clean. But I've been on birth control for over 9+ years now and have never had issues with weight gain. I was on the Depo shot for about 5 years, the pill for a combined 3 years and Nexplanon for just over 1 year. Never had a problem with any of them.

I was on birth control for 6 years and never had a problem with gaining weight... It all depends on the person I think.
