Toenail removal🤕

I had my toenail removed 3 days ago. The doctor told me to soak my foot in vinegar+water daily. I don’t remember how long she said to soak it but I’m doing 10min. She said she’ll give me the recipe for the vinegar+water solution but never has so I hope what I’m using is ok.👇🏼

So the pain has subsided a lot since the 1st day(it hurt A LOT) but this soak thing is literal HELL! It hurts sooo bad!😫 It burns, it’s like putting salt on an open wound. I literally cried the first time I did it(I never cry) and struggled to even keep my foot submerged. I think I’m supposed to soak my foot for 15-20min because that’s what I read online but I literally can’t do more then 10min I can barely even do the 10min. I contacted my doctor to see if it was normal to hurt so much but she never got back to me. It’s so difficult tho, I also have really bad pain tolerance. I have to do this daily for the next 2-3weeks. Every time I’m getting ready to do it I literally get a stomachache because I’m so nervous. And after the soak it really bad. After the soak I’m supposed re-bandage my toe but it hurts to bad to touch it so I just leave it for like 15-20min exposed to the air which I’m pretty sure isn’t good, I heard it can increase infections and slow the healing process. So anyway I’m quite a hypochondriac, I have really bad anxiety, low pain tolerance, and I hate blood. I know I’m quite a wimp lol but I was just looking to see if anyone has been through this or knows anything that can make this more bearable. Thanks.

Update: I just soaked my foot an hour ago and I’m in excruciating pain, worse then yesterday. My toe is throbbing and it hurts so much my leg/foot/toe is literally twitching. It’s been over an HOUR!😫😭😖 I took pain pills and it’s not helping at all.
