Spotting after pelvic exam or MC?

Hi,

I’m about 6-7 weeks pregnant and went into the OB Friday because of some brown spotting. She did a pelvic exam and an ultrasound and we saw the baby and a heartbeat. Everything looked normal. Last night I started having pink spotting and some pinkish brown mucusy looking blood in the toilet. Not much but enough for a concern for me. Nurses said to observe because I’m not cramping or in any pain. I had a miscarriage in December. Has any of this happened to any of you and it ended up being ok?
