So my mom, sisters and I moved into these apartments in August. They’re actually pretty nice and we haven’t had any problems or incidents except this guy who lives a few doors down from us. Every time we come back home from whatever it is we’re doing, he’s outside. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Which I find odd because he could just sit on his balcony because it faces the same way as the parking lot. Or if he’s not outside, the second we come up the stairs he opens his door. He always tries to make little conversations (and I’ve noticed its just us he talks to, not any of our other neighbors ” and if we’re carrying something heavy he’ll say things like “be careful you don’t fall, ill have to catch you” or “do you need helping bringing that inside?” He just makes weird comments. Sometimes at night he’ll come knocking at our door (even late at night) to talk and one time my mom let him in and he would not leave. Every time he talks to us, he reeks of alcohol and even asked my 19 yr old sister if she could drive him to the liquor store. Whenever my or my sister sees him, he always asks where my mom is at or if we’re pulling up he’ll walk up to the car and won’t leave us alone. The other day, my bed frame was delivered and obviously the package was very heavy but I tried carrying it inside myself until the guy opens the door and asks if I need help. I thought nothing of it and said yes because the package was way to heavy for me. So he helped be bring it inside and literally just stood there looking around for a couple minutes then said “make sure you tell your mom I helped you” and left. Usually people would leave right away but he just stood there?? I honestly was terrified and now I know not to let him help. So that same day he helped me bring the package inside, he came knocking at the door around 9pm and my mom answered it. He literally came knocking on the door just to make sure my mom knew that he helped me. Another thing I’ve noticed is he doesn’t talk to my sisters boyfriend or my moms boyfriend when he sees them, literally just us girls. Idk maybe we’re all thinking of it too much but we’re all getting pepper spray and things like that just to be safe.
