If your ex was talking to someone a month after breaking up, would you be upset? Or is that a timely manner to move on.

I don’t typically check on my ex’s once we break up so I personally wouldn’t be upset. Everyone takes different time to get over a break up. Some people think getting a new partner right away will help 🤷🏻‍♀️ or sometimes it just doesn’t take much time to get over it.

I wouldn’t care. It’s not my business. Would it hurt my feelings? Maybe, depending on how long we were together. If we were together for years and he was with someone a month later? I would feel hurt I guess but I mean, good for him? Maybe that’s his way of moving on.

Everyone is different. Some people move on fairly fast others need time. Depending on how long we were together it would bother me(if we were together many years but a year or under I’d be like eh whatever)

I might be upset, it depends how or why the relationship ended. 
But i started talking to my now husband the day after my ex and I broke up. It was not an intentional thing, I didn’t seek it out, but it happened. But my relationship with my ex had also been “over” (never talked, texted, saw each other but lived in the same town) for 6 months. But it was the day after our official breakup that I happened to begin talking (mostly just as friends but kind of flirty) with my now husband.
