Got a pap and now they claim I have HSV2

So last month my gyno, performed my annual pap which i had not done in about 2 years( i know but had no insurance) anyways. I finally got insurance and went in for my routine. First had the pap second had to check my iud and it turned out to not be in place so I got removed which was fine I had decided to have a baby anyways. So once that was removed i went in for my results and a biopsy that she felt I needed. She goes on to tell me I have HPV AND HSV 2. Like it was nothing btw. I know the pap can test for hpv but can it test for herpes?

I have never had an outbreak or any bumps in that area at all. So I am going for second opinion since I called another doctor they said that paps cannot usually test for herpes.

Anyone have similar issues?
