Not only is it 100 days since my baby came into the world but 100 days of breastfeeding!

I wasn’t able to breastfeed this long with my first (didn’t have support to accomplish that at previous job and I suspect I messed up my hind-milk ratio because I was given bad advise to pump more than needed to early on so my daughter wouldn’t gain and the breast milk made her painful gas so we switched to formula at about 2 1/2 months old). She got sick soon after so I’ve had mommy guilt from feeling like I quit too soon with her.

So I’m happy to have gotten this far even though it’s hard sometimes now that I’m back at work. Hoping to make it to 6 months at least. I just wanted to post this milestone since I can’t really share with anyone else besides my husband since everyone else in my family has not breastfed this long and they are kind of apathetic about it or don’t get why I don’t switch to strictly formula feed whenever I mention it’s tough at work to pump sometimes (I’ve had to supplement a bit since being back at work). Any other mamas out there in that boat? Let’s celebrate and encourage each other!
