Birth certificate??

So my wife and I are about to TTC our first child, and I’m confused and anxious about the birth certificate situation. I’ve heard and read so many different things about how that works with same sex couples; will both of us sign the birth certificate, will one of us have to adopt, what if my wife is carrying and I’m not allowed to be with her while she’s in labor because it’s not biologically mine??

I’m incredibly anxiety prone and I need to have most things planned out or I get overwhelmed and it triggers panic attacks, ptsd, etc..
