Head size?

Question

How many inches was LO's head at 6 month appt.? 
My LO's was 16", the Dr. Didn't say anything to me about it but of course as soon as I got a chance I put it in the growth tracker and said she was in the 8th percentile for for head?

Over 18 inches. She just not got back on the chart.

My sons is 17 inches which puts it in the 50th percentile, the rest of him to only in the 10th 😊 if it's following a curve it should be fine

Not with this baby but with my almost 2 year old her head has always been in the 16th to 20th percentile while the rest of her was in the 80s and 90s. Her doctor always said it was no big deal as long as her head continued to follow a curve. If it fell off the curve or started going drastically above that normal curve thats when we needed to get it checked out. Now she is pretty petite for her age and her percentiles are all pretty close to eachother.

My daughter’s is 42cm which roughly compares to 16in. On the Glow Baby tracker it says that’s in the 38th percentile

Just like their height, babies’ heads grow in spurts, and the spurts may not necessarily occur at the same time or pace as height. It could just be your LO’s head is still due for growth around this time. But if the doctor isn’t worried about it then I wouldn’t be either.

I don't know inches but my daughter is in the 16th percentile. My doctor wasn't concerned, said that it could be hereditary. I have a small head so I think she gets it from me.
