Birth control advice

Okay I’m stuck I was on the depo shot for 2 years and then I stopped taking it. A year later after having unprotected sex I got pregnant. I’m a mom now and I don’t have sex. I haven’t had sex since I found out I was pregnant and now my daughter is 10 months old. I have a drs appointment today and wanted to get back on birth control. Would it be worth it to get back on it when I don’t even have sex? I have normal periods too... I guess is it worth it to get on it for the event that I ever do have sex again which I’m sure will happen when I’m in a relationship? What would you do?
