Hi ladies! I’m praying for some useful feedback.

Yesterday around noon, I awoke from a quick nap and went to the bathroom. I noticed red period-like blood. My husband just got home for lunch, and I alerted him. We estimated I was around 6 weeks pregnant.

We called my doctor, who I have not seen or even met yet. The nurse told us just to wait it out and come in the following morning.

In the mean time, the bleeding quickly worsened and cramping began. I went to the bathroom several more times.

I passed what looked like a large clot of tissue (???) and filled the toilet with blood. At this point, I was completely panicked. My husband called the doctor back and they instructed us to go to the ER.

The ER took blood, did a urine sample, internal and outer ultrasounds (hubs was not allowed in the room, no pictures, no heartbeat heard etc), and did a vaginal exam.

During the exam, the doctor noted that there was “blood and matter” that would be sent off to pathology.

After nearly four hours, we were told I was seven weeks and 3 days along and the baby’s heartbeat was 140. I was told to follow up the next morning with the OB.

So, the bleeding let up quite a bit after I passed whatever it was... I’m still spotting some, but not horrible.

OB apt this morning was kind of a joke. We insisted they do a sono, but they didn’t plan to! What??? Dr said basically that bleeding and cramping is normal.

Guys, this is my third and I’ve never experienced this! Please tell me your thoughts???
