Y shaped gluteal crease? Has anyone come across this before. He has to see the doctor next week but everything I’ve read about on google says spina bifida or tethered spinal cord? I’m really worried

I used to be a nurse in newborn nursery. This is something we checked for on newborns during our initial assessment. If it was notes they usual did an ultrasound to rule out a tethered cord. I never personally saw a case that turned out to be anything but I'd bring it up at next med appt

My cousins baby has that and I’m sorry to say she does have some health issues. But I think it’s just as likely that baby will be fine too.
