Can I open the window when baby sleeps?

If a little wind comes in, but the central heater is on and baby is wearing a hat and well covered up in a next _to_ me crib, is that fine ?

How do you check that baby's temperature is optimal ?

Yes that’s fine. Babies in most Scandinavian countries often are put outside in the snow to nap, so I think an open window is perfectly fine. As long as you feel the baby’s chest and it feels warm she’s probably fine.

I think it’s like 70 or 72 degrees is ideal for infants. I’d double check I think it’s 70, I usually keep windows closed anyway because it’s winter unless we have an unusually warm day (in CA)

I was always told at first after they are born if your hot they are or if your cold they are cold.
