Overnight diapers not absorbent enough?

My 6 mo wets the bed every night through the overnight diaper. He finally started sleeping through the night and now he wakes up every morning with wet sheets and pjs 😩
Has anyone else experienced this? We’ve tried bigger diapers, different brands, overnight diapers and nothing works. 
He’s a big 6 mo at 23 lbs and 29 inches!

Have you specifically tried Huggies Little Movers- the ones with Mickey on them? Those are the only ones my LO doesn't leak out of. She doesn't do well with the Little Snugglers or Pampers. Some babies just really do best in a particular fit and brand.
Also, your baby is an adorable little chunk, and so is mine. So I have to make sure when I put on her diaper, I move it to the inside of her thigh rolls to get it nice and tight. (I have to move her legs up and out and adjust the diaper to make sure it's totally inside her thigh meat or else there will be a gap when she moves her legs.) Then I slide my fingers all the way around the leg holes to make sure it's even and the leak protector liner is sticking out.

My 20lb baby wears size 3 (will be starting her on 4’s) we have used honest company  huggies little snugglers, snug& dry, luvs up&up, pampers cruisers & pampers baby-dry has never leaked through not once & always slept throughout the whole night from 9 PM & completely up by 9 AM I usually wake up by 5 AM & change her w no accidents in between. why not try to change him in the middle of the night to avoid that?? Or maybe you’re using too big of diapers??

I have tried the Upand Up and Huggies overnight diapers and my boy leaks through both. After I go through my stash I’m going to order Sposie inserts off of Amazon and try those. They have excellent reviews for heavy wetters.

Wow I don't have that problem at all and my son sleep through the night too. Is he in size 4? That should be the size he's in based on his weight... I know this sounds weird but is his penis pointed down? I noticed my son will pee out of the diaper if his penis isn't pointed down.

Usually leaks mean the diaper size is too big. What size is he in and have you tried sizing down? How many hours is he in the diaper for?

My baby is 6 months almost 16 lbs and also wets through her jammies all the time. Weve tried several diaper brands. Thats not even with her always sleeping through the night. Sometimes i have to change her jammies in the middle of the night when she wakes.

My daughter has been sleeping through the night for a while now and we had the same issue. She is In size three so we put that on and then on top of that one we put on her big brothers size 5 diaper, it works like a charm!

We use huggies snug and dry ones and have never leaked.
