First kiss and taking it slow

So I have gone on three dates with this girl. I am usually a sex on the first date, go too fast, girl. I told myself that I’m going to take it slow this time. I still haven’t kissed her. I told her on my way home that I was pissed for not going for it. Haha, I just have never taken it slow before and have no idea what I’m doing. I like this girl, and want to do it right. I was going to kiss her today, but I walked her to her car and I was freezing my lady balls off, and also super nervous. So I didn’t.

Like I said, I normally go much faster and I’ve been through some shit that told me to slow down. I’m kind of embarrassed that I didn’t do it today. :/ I mean she’s super cool about it, and I kind of have a feeling that I’m going to see her the next time and go crazy with her. Should I be embarrassed? Is this too slow?
