Help with nighttime sleeping
Hello! My baby was born on 2/28/19. She has been home two nights. During the night, she will not sleep anywhere but my arms. This happened on our second night in the hospital also. When my husband put her down in the hospital, she stayed sleeping for hours until it was time for me to feed her. If I am the one to put her down, she gets upset and cannot calm down. If hubby puts her down, she seems fine. She will sleep on a blanket on the couch next to him while he watches TV without a problem. If I do that, there is a problem. Luckily, husband is on a short paternity leave but he does go back in a few days. He works 12 hour shifts. Last night I was up all night with her and tonight seems to be the same. I love my baby girl and love holding her but I also need some sleep. I cannot sleep during the day even though I try. When hubby goes to work, I'm worried on if & when i will sleep at all.
Can anybody please give me some tips or suggestions? We have a pack & play in our room. Maybe she just hates that? It's only night 2 but I feel I can see this will be a pattern. Help!
