My period is supposed to start this week, and conveniently (😑), I’m sick with a 102 fever (lots of coughing, the works).

Antibiotics is enough to do that on its own.  Antibiotics messes with your systems ability to deal with estrogen. Estrogen is one of the hormones that controls your cycle.
That is also why you may get a yeast infection, and why birth control pills may become less effective when you use antibiotics.
