Laparoscopic surgery with possible ovarian drilling

My husband and I have been TTC for about a year. I was diagnosed with PCOS in August of 2018. No male issues. I started taking metformin 500mg. I have taken 3 rounds of provera and femara with no success of pregnancy. An also have not ovulated that I can tell. Went and met with my doctor and she feels this would be a good idea. She also has mentioned prolactin testing and ovarian reserve testing.. Any advice or information on these things would be greatly appreciated.
