Novarel(Trigger Shot)

I had my injection today! Anybody else get it today, already had it or is getting it soon?

I did my research on here and I didn’t see much so I thought I’d explain my experience in case somebody else needed help.

So I went into my Doctors office yesterday to have a follicle study and after doing so she said that she thought it was best to wait 1 day then have the injection at day 16.

So I made an appointment for my injection this morning and really didn’t know what to expect being that this was my first time, ever. So I arrived and she did the usual BP & weight then she said to give her a few minutes to prepare the injection. She took me to a room and explained the process since it was my first round. Basically, you’re getting a shot on each hip. The shot itself didn’t hurt, it was the medication that burned as it went in but it was so quick and if faded away. I immediately became sore and honestly I still am super sore tonight. However, I know that it’s all for a good purpose!

Of course each office is different and while this was my experience yours may be different.
