When to take pregnancy test

Okay so I just follow the monthly when I’m ovulating on this app.. my husband and I had sex right in the middle of my potential ovulating days, and that was on February 27th, today is March 6th... I’m just wondering when I’d be able to start taking pregnancy tests? I know you should wait till your missed period, but patience is not my thing😂

I ovulated 2/25, tested 2 days ago with a negative... surprise surprise lol. I’m trying to wait at least till Friday even though I have a bulk pack of tests and want to test every day. But getting sad every time it’s negative is hard on you mentally so I’m trying not too. I say wait as long as possible. Some woman don’t test positive till after the missed period, and from what I read it’s not as common to test positive earlier. Also, the app was off on my ovulation by 3-4 days, I highly recommend getting the strips and using them daily to get more accurate timing. They are pretty cheap on amazing or eBay. This is what mine looked like in case you haven’t seen them.

I should’ve ovulated on the 27th according to this app, I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I think it’s just way too early to test, I’m thinking about either testing on Friday or wait until Monday. The wait is killing me though!
