Mucus plug?!

I know it’s not anything to worry about too much as it regenerates itself BUT me and partner had sex last night for the first time since November🤦🏼‍♀️ this is the second chunk that has come out today. Very gooey/sticky in texture (kinda gross soz) is it my mucus plug or something else? 18 weeks 👍🏼

My last pregnancy, I lost a portion of my mucus plug at 16+5 then delivered at 17+5 (contractions started at 17+3). I would definitely let your OB know. I found out that I had cervical incompetence and one of the first signs of cervix shortening is losing your mucus plug and increased discharge. They should be able to do a manual check to see if your cervix is opening. This looks like a pretty big piece to me.

Everytime me and my so have sex the next day i have mucus coming out some days it will just be random too but its normal lol

It freaks everyone out lol. As long as there’s no blood or awful cramps along with it, it’s normal
