Keeping gender a secret

My husband has to work the day of the anatomy scan and won't get to be there for the gender reveal. (A meeting on-site he can't reschedule, and there's no availability for me to reschedule either.) He's disappointed he can't experience it with me, and we don't want to miss out on finding out together.

So I called to ask if I can FaceTime in the appointment and they don't allow video recording, but they can give a copy of the ultrasound video. (What's the difference? 🤦) I asked to keep the gender a secret, so now I just hope this plays out like I hope it will. Lol

Anyone else not finding out right away? How do you navigate keeping from finding out?
