How did you feel (mentally) during your IVF TWW?

Today is the first day I’m not waiting for updates or going to appts. The only thing I am waiting for is my beta next week. I’m 3dp5dt and for some reason I am very emotional and thinking it’s not going to work. Is this a common feeling? We tried for 4 years with no luck so maybe my brain is just wired to think it won’t work? We are unexplained infertility. I would love some advice. Thanks!

I didn’t think my FET worked either. But it did! I’m 10w5d and still freaked out (2 miscarriages before this so naturally worried!) I think it is normal to be worried and nervous considering how much love, blood, tears, money you’ve put into this process. There is a lot riding on it and it’s scary! I think our previous experiences shape our mind so we’re just going to have to work extra hard to not let the bad thoughts seem to become truths in our minds. I try to meditate (using the calm app) to help me try to change my mindset even a little. It’s very difficult! Try to keep yourself entertained as much as you can. Wishing you the best and hoping your baby is getting cozy!!

I was convinced it wasn’t going to work. Didn’t have any ‘symptoms’ and lots of AF style cramps. Had my blood test yesterday and it worked ✌🏽 I resisted the urge to test before blood test, too. Regardless of the result that would have just made it all more stressful. Good luck! 🍀

Tww isn’t for me 😂 let’s just call it a four day wait 👍🏽. I tested 4dp5dt and got my positive. And it stayed positive every..... single..... day lol.

The whole process is such an emotional roller coaster. I had 2 failed cycles and a CP and on my 3rd round of IVF I tried to be optimistic but it was hard. Turns out two of our 5 day embryos took that last cycle and we are expecting twins in June.
