Feel like I’m less than others 😒

Everyone around me is getting a job and getting hired. I’m 17 (recently turned 17) and haven’t had a job. Idk I just feel like I’m not as good as others.. I’ve been applying and aren’t having any luck finding a job. Have had 2 interviews (one last summer and one recently) didn’t get either job.

My sister got a job at 16. My brother just turned 16 and wants a job and wants to start looking.

I don’t have reliable transportation 😒 My mom can’t drive, my dad works, my older brother works and goes to school.

My brother is probably gonna get rides from his friend or something if he gets a job.. I don’t have any friends

I don’t need a job but I kinda want one just bc I’m gonna have to get one eventually so why not now? Plus I go to online school so I’d have a flexible schedule.

I do help out at my parents store and sometimes get paid $20 when I go.

I just feel like a lowlife I guess but then again I’m only 17, don’t NEED a job, and my main focus is school.. but then there’s people who have been working since like 15/16, get jobs right away, have been working since they were young and that makes me feel like I’m a loser or something and that they’re better and are more successful in life I guess..
