ladies help

I’m 21 weeks pregnant, last night my partner and I were “getting busy” while half way through he tells me I’m bleeding, I look down and have bright red blood running down my legs, this obviously scared the total crap out of us but considering I wasn’t in any pain and had no idea I was even bleeding till he said something, I was a bit confused, the bleeding had stopped being so bad by the time I had cleaned it all up and I was just spotting then stopped completely after about an hour. We talked about it and decided that it was probably just from being too rough or something, nothing to worry about. So then tonight I had this really brown discharge, that was like clumpy, not really the kind of mucasy pregnant discharge I’m used to and now I’m a bit worrroed that I should’ve went to the hospital. has anyone experienced this before, or know what it could be? Should I be worried or no big deal?
