Can dehydration cause problems

Ok so I’ve been having spotting since not this last Friday but the one before that and I’ve been having some mild cramping but now today my cramping got wayyyyy worse and I started having severe pressure in my cervix area it was horrible and I was so afraid I was about to lose my fifth baby in a row so I went and got checked out but my cervix was still close and they were able to see the gestational sac, a very clear yolk sac, and a possible second yolk sac but they couldnt find a cause for the pain Im I’m. She said if it really is twins that could be why I’m cramping so bad but also I just remembered I haven’t been drinking nothing but one cup of kolaid a day and no water so that made me wonder if it could be my dehydration causing the cramping. Is that possible ?
