Ladies I’m nearly 34 weeks and wow when I sit down my legs have be wide open 😊😊😂 because when I try to  close them my little princess starts fussing and kicking lol like her poor little head gets squashed or something 
Im I alone ? 😂😂😂🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😊😅

You’re not alone. My doctor today said that that is really how people should naturally sit anyway and not only is more comfortable, it also helps the baby get into a good position for birth so keep going! :) x

It’s the proper way for a pregnant lady to sit. Plus my belly is so low with this pregnancy it hurts not to sit with my knees facing different continents. Lol

My prenatal physiotherapist said it’s normal and what we should be doing, as is waddling/walking with our hips externally rotated.

Spinning babies recommends it to help baby be in good position! It makes it like a hammock for them to snuggle down into.

You’re definitely not alone. When I was pregnant 34-38 weeks I had to sit with my legs wide open and basically walked as though I crapped myself 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 she was really low so hurt soooo bad to walk!! 😬

Our birth class suggests sitting criss cross applesauce or taylor sitting. Its way more comfortable than sitting with my legs closed for sure!

Totally! But for me it’s more because I have a hard time breathing lol. Baby doesn’t like it either but I struggle catching my breath if I don’t sit wide legged
