Prom and Military ball: Hair or Makeup first?

So, one I need to know, hair or makeup first. And two, please help with any suggestions on hair and makeup styles!! I don’t like a lot of makeup, I think I look weird, but my mother tells me it helps with pictures and stuff. Also, my hair is about collarbone length. This is my dress (my hair is a little longer now).

Make sure you wear a button down shirt so you aren’t pulling anything over your hair or face after it’s done. It doesn’t really matter the order in which you do it as long as you leave enough amount of time for both appointments but not so early in the day that all you can do is sit on the couch doing nothing so you don’t mess it up.
