Struggling..

Mrs.Holland

I am a ftm and my baby is 8 days old. I have yet to have to introduce the bottle until today. We were in the Walmart parking lot and she just wouldn't latch on so I pulled out my manual breast pump and ended up bottle feeding her..

Then this evening she was eating and seemed to be done so I pumped out what little I had left.. and she decided she wanted the boobs back and I gave her what the little I pumped.

I am super stressed about nipple confusion. ☹ I think I may be shaming myself too much but I was hoping to not introduce a bottle until a month old because the lactation consultant told me a month is recommended. Any thoughts?

Also any suggestions on how to help build a milk supply? I seemed to have a bit of an over supply and now that she is growing seems like I am just barely making it to her needs

Thanks in advance, and advice is much appreciated
