Good diets whilst breastfeeding?

I’m sure this topic has been covered ad nauseum, but I wondered if anyone had any current recommendations on diets they’ve found work well for them whilst breastfeeding?

I dropped all grains and my milk supply dropped by 20oz.... 
So don’t do that. 
I brought back oatmeal, and quinoa and I’m back 🤗.
Just eating healthy fats avocado olive oil nuts, meats and fruits and veggies. Stopped eating junk food so when I get a craving I’ll have some fruit. 
Ive lost 6 lbs in two weeks. I am a heavy girl btw but this is not baby weight anymore I lost that already I was just stalling at be baby weight.

I’m always hungry so I want to eat everything! 
My midwife said whole grains and oatmeal are good and to avoid anything that can cause gas (onions, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.). That’s pretty much all I know. 
But I constantly crave junk food and candy, so... 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anything that isn’t junk! Nuts, oats, fruits and veggies. And tons of lean protein.

I was told that it's only recommended to lose up to 1 pound a week while nursing so your milk supply doesn't plummet. I did Weight watchers after my first and lost about 20 lb in 4-5 months and with my second baby I just counted calories and stayed at about 2000 calories a day. I also try to choose healthier options, but that's not always possible.
