Haakaa questions - any users out there?

Hi ladies! I have been reading about people being super happy with a Haakaa and I‘m thinking about getting one, but have a few questions. Maybe the Haakaa users here know the answers?
1. My supply is fine but not to the degree that I ever leak. I don’t need to wear nursing pads, for example. So I don’t feel letdown in the other breast while I nurse. Will the Haakaa still work?
2. You always read about the importance of the baby getting both foremilk and hindmilk. Wouldn’t the Haakaa mostly catch foremilk? 
I would be using it to start a freezer stash before I really get into pumping.

I started using it a few days ago...love it. I alternate breasts so that you get the foremilk on the first breast and hind milk on the second just like baby gets.  It looks the same color as my night time pump milk so I’m guessing it’s got all the good stuff baby needs. I don’t leak from the other breast when I nurse without the Haakaa and I still get 1-2 oz when I do use it.  I say it’s worth a try as they aren’t that pricey.

I put the haakaa on my stud boob first then on the other side when baby switches. You catch the fattier stuff that way. Then I combine together. If it doesn’t make a complete bottle to freeze, it goes in the fridge. I combine milk from the next feed to get the # of ounces I need. (Just make sure you chill the milk to the same temp in the fridge before combining.) Sometimes it takes a few feeds to make a bottle; it depends! Though you don’t leak, the suction will draw the milk out when the letdown occurs. At 23 weeks BF I rarely need nursing pads anymore, and if there is no pad, I don’t leak despite feeling my letdowns/still being able to collect some milk if I have the haakaa attached.

I love it! It is a gentle suction so if you don't leak, it doesn't mean it won't draw out more milk! I can get 4oz on one side and I know that much doesn't leak into my pads while feeding. I put it on both sides opposite to the breast I'm feeding on, so if you've just fed from one side and switch to the other you get mostly hindmilk.

I use it. My daughter is now 9 weeks and I’ll only put it on when I feel super full on the other side. When I do use it, it’ll catch 1-4 oz. I used it a lot more when she was first born and was able to build up a decent freezer stash, 150/200 oz. I also now pump once per day to build up the stash without increasing my supply much.  
You can put it on after you switch sides, to try and get anything left over too.

I don’t have oversupply but use one... you’ll get little bits which you can store or add together to make a bottle. I get about 30ml a feed.
