Am I unfair asking my partner to help look after our daughter when he gets home from work so I can have a break?

She’s a very clingy baby and doesn’t let me go anywhere or do anything without her. She has to constantly be in my arms 🥺 she cries all day long and it gets me down bc nothing I do soothes her 🙁💔 I love her with everything I have but sometimes I just need a break, not even just physically but I need a mental break 🙇🏻‍♀️ I’ve been extremely down the last 8 weeks bc I feel like my partner never wants to do anything with her. He doesn’t want to feed, change, hold her so it ends up being me that holds her 24/7. Im emotionally and physically drained 😭 I just NEED a bit more help from him 😓

As if 5% thought it was unfair to ask the father of her child to look after her while she has a break! 🙄 
You cannot and should not have to look after her every waking minute when you have a boyfriend/husband that should be helping! 😐 what’s his excuse, he’s tired? 🙄

Not unreasonable whatsoever!
When my boyfriend gets home from work, he takes a nice long shower, but then he’s on duty for a minimum of two hours while I finally rest and usually nap. We’ve come to an unspoken arrangement on this and we’re both ok with it. He told me today he usually tries to rush home after work just because he knows I need a break finally from my job 💜
Being at home with a baby - especially a clingy one - is NOT easy. You 100% deserve a break, every single day.

No, you’re both in charge of being parents. Sometimes you just need a break, be able to have a proper shower & a few mins of “me” time to reload & he is just as much of a parent & be involved
