Update:possible twin

I posted a confusing post on Thursday. It was about seeing another baby. In our vaginal dating scan. It's been a roller coaster of a week.

There were three things on the screen.

Midwives saw the baby, flicker, and sac to the right of the screen when she explored. Myself, my hubby, midwife and her student were all excited the vibe in the room got so hyped. It was neat. She had me good next door for a abdominal.

I said earlier three items on screen. Apparently I have a SCH also. It's fairly small. Anyways tech does a quick literally 1 minute scan. Sees perfect baby, and the SCH on my right side and doesn't explore further. Takes it that's what she was talking about.

I voiced concerned. He shut me down immediately "I've been doing this for 18 years, midwives do this all the time". Dismissing me and quickly scoots us out the room. I didn't even get council on the damn SCH.

My notes were updated in my file. Saying "twin viability".

I am heading to my second opinion vaginal scan at 2 today mountain time. Im pissed as I've voiced my concern 2 times and it was dismissed.

Medical professionals make mistakes too. I can't imagine 4 people saw a second baby and a heart beat. Regardless. If it was not a baby what was it?!

Anyways. Just venting. I got alot of support. So I wanted to let everyone know I stepped up and feel proud that I'm getting a second opinion.
