Baby boy hold on a little longer

I'm 36 weeks 2 days and my dr checked me 3 days ago..said baby was very low and he could feel his head.. I was at 1 cm. Even got some bloody show when he checked me. He said I will most likely have the baby by this weekend and not make it to my appointment next week. I have some pretty strong contractions when I'm up moving around but die down when I am laying. Thing is my 2 year old has the flu.. day 3 and day 2 on meds. Im washing everything and disinfecting. And got the preventive Tamiflu (day 1). Baby boy is moving so much today and I feel like if I went on a walk he would be here tonight. I'm trying to hold off until some of the germs go away but I dont want to hurt the baby by not going along with labor. Could I hurt the baby by basically being on bed rest if baby is healthy and ready to come? What would you do?
