Dizzy and faint ?

Does anyone else get random dizzy spells and shakes when your bloody sugar drops ? I’m 31 weeks pregnant and sometimes need to sit down for an hour and eat something really high in sugar to bring me back ... I had the diabetes test and that was fine 😕

I had fainting spells early in the second trimester and though they’ve gradually improved, I still get them periodically moving into my 3rd trimester. The three things that helped me the most were switching to a prenatal with iron (I had been using gummies before), drinking an Ensure as soon as I wake up, and getting my showers at night instead of in the morning. I think the heat from the showers was triggering them first thing in the morning, especially if I hadn’t eaten yet. I try to be careful not to go to long between eating too. Hopefully you feel better soon. Dizzy spells are pretty awful.

Yea all 3 pregnancies and I’ve never been diabetic either. It’s strange

You can have low blood sugar episodes even if you're not diabetic. I've had low blood sugar before. Its uncomfortable. You can shake, and def be dizzy etc. Drinking something sugary is the best way to get your sugars back up. Have OJ. And please try to eat regularly esp when pregnant. this will help prevent these episodes
