When will I be ok with other people holding my baby?

I have a 3 month old little boy and I still am uncomfortable with people holding him. Espeacially other women besides my mom. I watch him like a hawk and honestly get a bit jealous when women hold him. I don't like it. Is this normal? When will it change?

You need to force yourself to be okay with it honestly. It’s really good for your baby to be held by other people. And it’s kind of rude to watch so closely, especially people that you trust. Either you trust other people or you don’t.

I don't like anyone but me holding my kids. This just doesn't apply to my 8mo it applies to my almost 4yo son also. Especially if one of them is crying. I want to be the one to calm them.

Never! I am still the same way with my son and he's 2! Unless I know yoirealt well, don't grab my child 😆

Never lmao ! It’s part of the process but my son is 4 and I still get anxy lol like that’s my baby ! Lmao but you’ll be fine just make anyone who dose uses hand sanitizer and never allow anyone to kiss your baby especially not in the face

My son is 15 months and I still hate it lol!! I hate when my mom kisses him and it sucks that it bothers me so much but my mom is also always with different men so it just grosses me out 😭

I dunno my daughter is 3 weeks and I’m okay with other people holding her. I like it actually because then I can spend more time with my 22 month old 🤷‍♀️ I always get her back for feedings

I get anxious but I try not to helicopter. My MIL just visited and I’d let her try to soothe my daughter when she cried (unless it was her hunger cry - then I’d get her right away). I would step in when I felt it was necessary and luckily was never met with any opposition. It’s difficult because momma knows best, but I think it’s important to let others develop their own ways to soothe and bond with baby. 
Babysitting is another story though 😂 I won’t let anyone babysit - my parents and in laws included 🤷🏻‍♀️
